Movement at the Grill


Gary Collins has been DJ'n since the age of 15 & had an interest in the genre from an early age due to the influence of his brothers and he was always surrounded by music, as his father ran a radio station for over 20 years, So its in the blood as they say!

Early influence's were Dj xray, Sci, Carl Cox ,Graeme Park,Sasha & John Digweed, Pete Tong and Fergie in the dance industry & also the likes of Dr.Dre & Snoop Dog and he gather's inspiration from nearly every genre of musicl!! He Loves all things house & techno.

He was resident DJ in Club Ink, Letterkenny alongside Reuben Keeney & was also heavily involved with Punchfunk Ireland, a record label out of Portsmouth and has appeared in clubs like Voodoo, The Pulse, Pure-Sligo The Clarence-Sligo, Masons - Derry and GPO-Galway and The Lost Society, Dublin.

His new project is Called Momma Said!, a new house/techno club night which launched in June '13 to great applaude. With more nights planned in Galway, Sligo & back in Letterkenny and all around Ireland, this brand is going to grow bigger & bigger.

So far, he has DJ'd & organised nights alongside the likes of Fergie, Bart Skils, Chris Cargo, Paul Woolford, Reset Robot, Japanese Popstars, Col Hamilton, Felix Da Housecat, Pyscatron, Sister Bliss , Dj Sneak, Laidback Luke, Wolfgang Gartner, Loco & Jam, Gary Beck & Hot Pink Delorean.

He has also played Live on radio on i102-104FM on numerous occassion's, he is getting into the studio more so expect some tracks released next year.

Through various residencys in clubs in his local town, he landed his own weekly radio show on Cuelk.com, an online dance music station which attracted over 1.5 million listeners a year.
